We are thrilled to announce that The Flow of Justice has been officially selected for the prestigious Todo Cambia Human Rights Film Festival in Merced, California! This documentary, created by a team of eight talented Fresno State students under the guidance of Professor Samuel Contreras, will be showcased at this year's event, running from March 1-7 at UC Merced and downtown Merced locations.

The Flow of Justice shines a powerful light on a critical issue affecting over a million Californians—lack of access to safe drinking water. The film follows the stories of community members in East Orosi and Alpaugh, located in Tulare County, as they fight for water justice in a state where clean water is considered a fundamental human right. Through their resilience and advocacy, the documentary highlights the efforts of the Community Water Center, an organization dedicated to meeting immediate needs and amplifying the voices of those impacted by the water crisis. The film also honors the legacies of two late activists, Sandra Meraz and Jesus Quevedo, who played crucial roles in this ongoing battle.

This year’s Todo Cambia festival is centered around the theme "Beyond Approval," encouraging creatives to embrace their work without waiting for validation. In this spirit, the festival not only features films but also includes poetry readings, masterclasses, and a celebration of Central Valley artists from various disciplines.

Being a part of this incredible festival is an honor, and we are excited for the opportunity to share The Flow of Justicewith such a passionate and engaged audience. We hope this film sparks meaningful conversations about water justice and inspires others to advocate for change.

Don't miss this chance to witness the power of storytelling for social change at the Todo Cambia Human Rights Film Festival!
